How does this Notion page work?
- All of our main files, documents, and photos are still stored in Google Drive.
- This notion page is simply a convenient shortcut to the most important documents. It is NOT meant to store project content (ex. meeting notes, data from research, etc.)
What are the broader goals of the project?
- If you ever need a reminder of the project’s long terms goals, or lose sight of the purpose behind what you’re working on, refer to the top-level documents listed on the Homepage ( so big you can’t miss it)
- Products Requirements Specification - an overview of project goals and constraints
- Team Roles - an reminder of people’s roles and their expected responsibilities
- Mechanical Goals: (Month) - A document unique to each sub-team that is created for each month, containing an overview of that month’s goals along with a week-by-week “punch list” of tasks
What should I be working on?
-
By sub-team: Find your sub-team under Action Items and click on the link for weekly and monthly goals
OR
Search your inbox for the latest meeting recap email, which should list action items for individuals
I need to find a photo / upload a photo
- Navigate to the Photos and Vids Folder (under Document Links). Most team pictures are already in the main folder, and general prototype pictures are in the “FULL PROTOTYPE” folders.
I made a google doc, where do I put it?
- Find the folders listed under Document Links and figure out which shared folder to put it in
What should I do if I missed a meeting?
- Read the meeting recap email
- Find the meeting notes under the Meeting Notes heading and read through it
- Ask for a recap from someone who was at the meeting (Attendance is recorded in the meeting calendar)
